Get ahead of the threat
Sentiq’s Underwater Detection Sonar (SQ DDS) our most advanced, medium-range (MR) counter-UUV sonar, specifically engineered to safeguard coastlines from a full spectrum of underwater threats, ranging from small UUVs to submarines. It is specifically designed to secure critical maritime areas of interest, including borders, naval bases, ports and offshore infrastructures. SQ UDS can be installed on a dedicated underwater pole or under a power buoy, or attached to an offshore rig, and connected to a shore station by a fixed cable or RF connection.

A combined multi-layered solution
Four capability classes working together support a multi-layered, multi-threat solution. Portable and fixed diver detection sonars cover close and short-range threats; medium-range counter-UUV sensing extends the perimeter; and long-range active/passive sonar builds awareness against submarines and large or extra-large UUVs.

Proven pedigree
Derived from a hull-mounted sonar already in service internationally, so the acoustic core is not a first-of-type development but a system with operational history behind it.
Multi-static by design
Works as a standalone sonar or in combined multi-static mode with other sonars in the family, one transmitting while the others receive, complicating the acoustic problem for the target.
