Understand the seabed picture
Critical underwater infrastructure is difficult to defend when shadow fleet activity around it is intermittent, poorly understood or detected too late. Critical underwater infrastructure is difficult to defend when activity around it is intermittent, poorly understood or detected too late.
Sentiq addresses this on two levels. Persistent detection. Fixed underwater surveillance sonars provide continuous, always-on awareness around the asset itself: AquaShield for diver detection, BlueShield for uncrewed underwater vehicles and diver propulsion vehicles, SeaShield for submarines, midget submarines and swimmer delivery vehicles at longer range. Mobile investigation.
The SQ USV family provides scalable autonomous reach for baseline survey, revisit of priority areas and change detection, while inspection-class ROVs deliver assured close visual investigation of anomalies. Together they support a clearer picture of infrastructure condition, seabed activity and foreign actor interference — and the ability to act on it.

Layer protection around assets
Threats to a port, naval base or offshore facility do not arrive in one form or at one range. Sentiq builds protection outward from the asset in layers, each matched to the threat it is designed to detect.
Layer 1 - Divers. AquaShield provides diver detection close to the asset, covering berths, quay walls and approaches.
Layer 2 - Diver propulsion vehicles and UUVs. BlueShield extends detection to swimmer delivery and uncrewed underwater vehicles approaching from further out.
Layer 3 - Submarines and large underwater vehicles. SeaShield provides long-range detection of submarines, midget submarines, SDVs and large-displacement UUVs in the outer approaches.

Around this fixed backbone, mobile systems add reach and response. SQ USVs patrol beyond the sensor envelope and can be cued onto a contact, ORKA UAS provides aerial overwatch, and ROVs deliver close inspection and evidence gathering once something needs to be looked at. The result is an operational picture that exposes suspicious activity earlier and cues inspection or intervention assets where they are needed.
Additionally, our USVs can be deployed to release physical nets to block intruders.
USV-deployed IDS
PointShield is a portable diver detection sonar that can be integrated on an SQ24/SQ30 USV and deployed to a specific location in response to a report, a cue from another sensor or a change in the threat picture. This turns a fixed-site capability into a deployable one: detection can be established at a chosen point within hours, without a manned platform on station and without permanent installation.

Featured Capability
Mission Outcomes
Persistent asset awareness
Build and maintain an always-on picture around critical underwater infrastructure, reducing dependence on occasional inspections and crewed patrols that can leave long gaps in awareness.
Layered by design
Combine seabed survey, close inspection, underwater threat detection and aerial overwatch around the asset, geography and threat profile rather than relying on a single defensive layer.
Rapid anomaly investigation
Move quickly from detecting change to placing the appropriate autonomous or remotely operated asset over the point of interest, improving the speed and quality of assessment.
